Empowering Pakistan Through Knowledge & Technology

Our Vision

We envision a Pakistan where every citizen can understand their rights, duties, and the governance structures that affect their daily life.

Our goal is to nurture civic awareness and promote participation — creating a transparent, informed, and accountable democracy powered by shared knowledge.

Our Story

PakPedia started as an idea among civic educators and technologists who recognized that Pakistan’s Constitution and governance systems were often inaccessible to ordinary people.

The initiative evolved from a classroom conversation into a nationwide open-data project.
Today, PakPedia explains every constitutional article, visualizes district-level governance, and connects communities through open-source civic technology — making complex laws simple and participatory.
